An Updated BUSINESS CAREERS/EMPLOYMENT Report:
From One Smart Business Guru to Another

During a recession like this, finding new ways to make more money is usually the highest reward experience for every corporate executive.

How does this happen? Amazingly, it really should not be any surprise that one of the best ways that is encountered for the manager to make a difference is to start writing a book and becoming a bestselling author.

Congratulations, you’ve decided to write a book…that’s great! A book can give you credentials and help you to draw more customers to your business. And if those are your only goals, then it would be important to start writing a book fast. But you might miss one of the best reasons for having a book if you just concentrate on getting it done fast. That reason is to make money

The quick and easy way to attract more recognition and clients is “slowing down and taking the time to create a bestselling business around your book”, says top business coach DrProactive Randy Gilbert. He says that you will be rewarded with a betterbook, higher profits, and a passive income far in excessive of what you would have otherwise made with just a book.

DrProactive calls it a “bestselling business,” because it can make you a bestselling author and a millionaire at the same time. Getting busy and starting to write a book that has a business created as an integral part of it, is crucial.

You can use the TIPS below to create your own bestselling business centered on your book.

TIP: Make a list of the top 10 benefits (20 is better) you can provide for your clients. Then write out the top 7 ways that you will create those benefits (i.e. the tools, tricks, and plans that help solve their problems in your area of expertise). Congratulations, you have the Table of Contents for your book.

TIP: Use the same expert knowledge that will be going into your book to build other information products. One swift and easy info product is a Teleseminar.

Ask someone with an e-mail list (friend or JV partner) to interview you over the phone and invite their followers to listen. This is good for you and them, because they get good free content to give to their list, and you get a sound file that can be transcribed as part of your book. A one hour phone interview could become an entire chapter of your book. Repeat the process for each chapter in your Table of Contents, and your book will be done in just days.

There are at least six other optional products that will help you write your book and make money at the same time. Each of these options will help you to Pre-Sell your books before they are published. You can become an automatic bestselling author if you use these strategies to get enough pre-sales. Being a bestselling author is far better recognition and it usually helps to get more clients too.

TIP: Use the 80-20 rule as a habit and work on the most important thing everyday. One hour a day would be wonderful but at least half an hour would be great. Even, if you have a conflict and must do something else for that time of day…do something anyway for at least 10 minutes on your busy days. Just take action. Don’t worry about getting things perfect. Get a first draft done. Then revise it as you have time, or send it to an editor to do that for you.

Change your plan of action and start creating a bestselling business to write your book. Follow the guidelines above and in 90 to 180 days (or less) you will not only have the first draft of a great book written, you’ll have enough books pre-sold to make be a bestseller as soon as it’s published, as well as passive income to help put your business in the black.

SUMMARY:

If you want to learn how to write and market a good book that makes money and becomes a bestseller, then follow the secret formula that top authors use to successfully hit that goal. Choose to use the Key Factors outlined above and keep your eye on the ball, and you’ll knock it out of the park

There is no time like the present. Get started right now with building a bestselling business around your book. By doing so, you will be quickly writing your bestselling book and creating a million dollar business at the same time.

Overcoming Interviewing Fears

Written by rifqi on Saturday, November 28th, 2009 in Careers.

Most people are pretty nervous when preparing for an interview, whether it’s their first or 51st time. However there are some individuals who are beyond nervous when interview time rolls around – they’re flat out fearful. It may be that they’re extremely shy, have inherent “stage fright,” or are just afraid of facing someone perceived to be an authority figure.

If you fall into the category of being fearful of job interviews, there are a few ways to side step the fear and enter the situation with confidence. If you’re wanting to knock your interview out of the ballpark, here are some tips that can help with that.

Make Sure You’re Prepared

One reason that people get nervous before and during interviews is because they’re anticipating the unknown – they simply have no idea what will be discussed and fear they won’t have the answers. If you are prepared and sure of yourself, the fear will not be so prominent. Jump on the Internet, hunt for some questions that are commonly asked during and interview and practice your responses as much as possible.

If you’re not sure how you effective going through the list will be for you, you can always have a friend step in and act as an interviewer. This role-playing technique is a great way to simulate the actual scenario. You can rehearse the ideas you want to get across, practice confident body language, and even learn how to ad-lib a bit by having your friend throw in questions not on your list.

Wear Your Favorite Outfit

If you have a favorite business outfit that you feel very comfortable in, wear it. You’ll be surprised how much this improves your interview success. Don’t wear something that causes you discomfort – either mentally or physically.

“Relax, Relate, Release”

You may have heard this phrase from time to time to signify calming down before a stressful situation, but it’s something that you should definitely consider before your interview. There’s no needed to be intimidated by the interviewer so take some deep breaths and relax so you can focus on selling your skills and landing the job.

Rely On You

Sometimes, job candidates are so desperate to find work that they pretend to be someone they’re not just to get the job. You won’t fool the interviewer and it will definitely not impress them.Let your personality shine and if you get the job, you can be pleased that you can relax without having to be someone you’re not. Instead, rely on your own personality since this is who they’ll have to know once you’re hired.

Of course, a job interview can be a scary thing. However, if you make sure you’re prepared, have a well-written resume, and are comfortable, calm, and confident in yourself, you’ll ace the interview and will likely get a call back in no time.

Resume Writing Tips

Written by rifqi on Saturday, November 28th, 2009 in Careers.

Resume writing is most likely the most important hurdle for people who are on the lookout for a job. Although it may seem straightforward, there are distribute of sophisticated things that actually count. Potential companies are flooded with resumes replying to their opportunity listings, and you only have 1 or 2 short moments to make it or your resume will finish up in the trash. So, how does one optimize your resume to make it certain to get read? Here are three great suggestions to get you started. One. Be Total, yet Succinct. While your resume should contain a meticulous account of your qualifications and achievements, you must keep on subject precise to the job you are signing up for.

First of all, if you are signing up for a position as an office manager, as an example, you do not want to incorporate references to your stint as a rodeo clown. The possible employer will probably be interested only in the talents and work experience that relates right to the position they try to fill. Do your best to give them what they are looking for. Take an inclusive account of your work history and skills and choose to highlight what's important and relevant, and eliminate or downplay the items that are irrelevant. This technique of niche resume writing keeps your resume focused and gives you the benefit of seeming to be the most qualified applicant for the job.

Secondly your Professional Resume Should be Formatted Nicely. Interesting type faces and the like may be O.K for private communications, but your resume should be more ’standardized’.

You would like it to appear as neat and clean as.. Well, yourself, right? A typewritten resume using standard fonts like Times New Roman and Arial on prime quality plain white paper will be a winner each time. You also must pay attention to your spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Nothing would be more humiliating than a resume with typos, grammatical errors, and misspellings. Not only extremely embarrasing, but presenting a resume with errors won't inspire potential bosses and will probably land your resume in the trash. Do not rely on PC based spelling and grammar checks.

A lot of times, you'll lose your careful formatting to find it replaced with the incorrect margin, unusual fonts and worse. Before you send it, check it!

Finally, show Eagerness Your resume and cover letter shouldn’t be something you write resentfully. You are proud about the job you are making an application for, correct? Well, then show it! Your enthusiasm will be very evident in both the resume and the cover letter and will help to win you good standing in the eyes of the bosses. Whenever it is smart to, use action words to explain your career history and goals.

If this sounds too complicated then perhaps you could consider employing a good professional resume writing services company

How To Stop Foreclosure – 3 Legitimate Solutions

Written by rifqi on Saturday, November 28th, 2009 in Careers.

A great resource: Stop Foreclosure In Houston

To Stop Foreclosure in nearly any city in the United States of America, there are basically only a few legitimate options. Some of these you’ll know, and some will be brand new to you.

Here are a few directions you can take:

  • Sell your house prior to the foreclosure auction. The value of this idea will vary heavily depending on the nature and quality of your local real estate market. If you’re in a market that still has very slow resale rates, selling your home could be a challenge. Ask a local real estate agent to determine the average number of days on the market for properties in your area.
  • Initiate a loan modification. A loan modification is a process through which your lender changes the payment terms of your loan to more closely match your ability to pay. While this is not a guarantee, loan modifications have become more popular in the last 12 months.
  • Refinance the property. If you are not yet fully into the foreclosure process but have reason to expect you will fall behind on your payments, it may be wise to try to refinance your mortgage to a lower rate. If your property is worth less than the balance of the mortgage, you’ll want to inquire regarding a “short refinance”, which is when a lender forgives a portion of the debt against you in order for you to refinance your property and pay off the remainder of the debt you owe.

When you’re trying to stop a foreclosure, the key is fast action.

Warning: Be very wary of people who aggressively attempt to purchase your home for investment purposes. While there are many legitimate real estate investors, there has been a significant amount of fraud with “Stop Foreclosure” scams, and it is wise to be very, very careful.

Please remember: The crisis you now face will soon be over. As a foreclosure survivor myself, I’d like to encourage you to remain hopeful, and to understand that your future does not equal your past!

Thanks for reading this information about how to stop foreclosure. I hope you’ve found value here.

The Most Important Part of Internet Marketing

Written by rifqi on Friday, November 27th, 2009 in Careers.

When you hear the term “internet marketing“, what do you think of?

For many, that term conjures thoughts of websites or spamming or search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. For others, it’s all about graphical design, writing fancy code or even affiliate programs. All of those answers correct, but the essence of internet marketing is much simpler.

At its core, internet marketing is about these things:

* Understanding the target market to which the product/service/cause you’re marketing will appeal
* Determining exactly how your target market interacts with the internet
* Positioning your content on the internet to attract the attention of your target market
* Collecting information about your target market (also known as “leads”) for follow-up and conversion into sales
* Design of offers or incentives to induce the desired actions from your leads

Since there is insufficient space in this article to give all of these topics adequate attention, let’s focus on just one specific topic with the realm of internet marketing: Email Marketing.

My best payoff has always come by focusing on permission-based email marketing. Permission-based email marketing refers to the practice of collecting information (including email addresses) from website visitors and communicating with them via e-mail with their direct consent. The “permission” aspect of permission-based email marketing is what separates legitimate email marketers from the spammers that everyone despises.

My love of email marketing is strong for one reason: It works very well. Email marketing has been much like a never-ending goldmine: It enables us to produce income on demand simply by sending a good offer to our list. When you have thousands of loyal subscribers – as we do – and you put a strong and compatible offer in front of them, income becomes nearly automatic.

However, the key to successful email marketing is the development of a legitimate trust relationship with your subscribers. If you opt to send your subscribers a request for purchases every single day, they will likely tire of your badgering and cease reading your emails altogether.

Alternatively, if you take the time to provide good content to your readers on a regular and frequent basis, you’ll discover that your readers take all of your emails far more seriously, and as a result your emails will be opened, read and acted upon with greater frequency. Essentially, email marketing is really an exercise in trust.

While there are many more aspects to internet marketing than just permission-based email marketing, email has definitely been the cornerstone on which our business is built.
